They aren't cheap but there are a couple of things in life worth investing extra in, shoes and a good mattress! Light and very comfortable to wear for long periods, and they've kept my feet dry even in very wet conditions (obviously that's limited in deep water as they're shoes, not boots). Sizing seems about right, though you may want to go up half a size if you have wide feet. Haven't had much chance yet to try them in more challenging terrain but they seem to have plenty of grip except on very smooth wet surfaces like lino.Overall I'm very happy with them and would recommend them. nice shoe ,well made. i take size 10 and so ordered size 10, but the shoe was so small i had to return hence the 3 stars solid shoe from Merrell, raised arch took a day to get used to but a very comfortable shoe. It works perfectly for me every which are what I would class a normal width. I ordered a uk 6 & 7 as no half size was available, In standard shoes of most brands I wear a uk 6I kept the 7 in these for toe room, hiking. Im now pleased I did rather than a 6.5 even if it wear an optionSo I recommend a full size up or at the very least a half size up than normal street shoes.Ive converted to hiking socks which are padded in areas and the 7 leaves plenty of room to accommodate this.If new to the merrell brand, they tend to come up small in length but slightly wider in width than average.What I like about this particul babyliss thermo ceramic rollers regular use.I might have bought a new pair before now, but I thought I'd be packing up playing, so it wouldn't be worth it (I can't fairly be described as young). western hotel u buy, you may need a size larger for fit, and if you have wider than average feet, maybe reconsider this shoe as an option. These Merrell shoes are so comfortable and stylish. Great for going out in, and being Merrell shoes they are also great for walking longer distances in. Highly recommend.
