There is a peculiar dichotomy to the career of James Horner in the minds of many soundtrack audiophiles. It's as if during the 1980's Horner was an absolute pure genius with the midas touch, and once called the future of film scorers by Elmer Bernstein. Time and again he would write a score that both fit the film perfectly, covered an enormous range of styles, and posessed a powerful command of instruments and sounds. And the soundtrack albums had almost no dead spots. He repeated a few phrases, and lifted from a few Classical composers (as many film scorers do), but there could be no doubt to his brilliance. So highly praised in music circles was he, that his name often popped up as someone to listen to by the contemporary classical world. While he's has had some strong scores since Sneakers (Braveheart, Apollo 13, Titanic, Zorro) Sneakers is often considered the last film he scored in this era, and a turning point of sorts.That turning point ocurred during the early 90's. They will not keep sand out 100% but I do not know of any water shoes that will. After each use my advice is to rinse them out thoroughly and DO NOT place them in a plastic bag which prevents them from drying out naturally (damp neoprene and foot bacteria produce a smell which you will not be able to live with).The supplier (Gumbies Ltd) were fantastic when we had to replace two pairs dues to the aforementioned sizing issues - really attentive and helpful.No hesitation in recommending these; the inner liners detached on all of them which was a bit frustrating, but they did a fantastic job coping with what they were intended for and showed very little wear in other areas which is remarkable given the amount of punishment they were exposed to. Must-have best breakdown cover igger.
These are lovely trainers. Light with good support but they come up small. I always order a 7 which is normally half a size up for me but I would need an 8 in these..so as long as you order a size bigger, I recommend.
I am a size 5 but ordered a 6 as reviews were saying small fit, size 6 was too small so sent them back & ordered a 6.5 they fit perfect
Arrived in good time . Fit well . As always good quality . Very comfy . I am using these every day 3/4 hrs a day walking as I'm a postman . Only down fall they probably worn out in 6/8 months . But that's as to be expected . So I will be here again getting another pair in the coming months

Trainer is not very well padded and I was surprised to find that it is quite a tight fit, especially as I buy only Asics size UK11. The delivery by Millet Sports took an age and I'm mad that I tried to economise by buying a cheap trainer. I don't expect to wear them enou Babyliss Pro great too.Certainly won't be my last pair of Superga's, in fact I have more ordered all ready!
This shoes are great! I bought size 6, which is a bit big if you wear a european 39, but it's ok when you tie your laces. Great shoes, great quality, arrived 2 days after I ordered them. I couldn't be happier!

These shoes are comfy and true to size.My main issue is that the memory foam soles have both come unstuck completely from the shoe. The first one started to lift after 2 weeks. I can assure you that I'm not doing anything crazy to facilitate this! On the other hand, it means that I can remove the soles and use it in other shoes!These shoes have helped me with my walking a lot and I have been able to wear them to work as they are pretty plain.
Love these trainers. Bought them because i had painful feet after walking all day at work in flat shoes but now all that is gone. Got size 5 even though i normally go for 6 or 5.5 because everyone was saying th.

These were really well made and would have been good but I really need a size ee.Unfortunately I had to return them but not received conformation from sellers that they have received them backOr refunded the cost of them.Really nice colour and was a good design,disappointed that they did not fit.Maybe they ought to make them in wider width fittings has I am sure many people would buy them.
K-Swiss has been our tennis shoe of choice for the last 10 years, but the quality of the shoe is not as good as it used to be. They used to be a very nice, wide and comfortable fit, but are now definitely narrower and a bit less comfortable. The quality has been reduced in order to make the shoes more cheaply. Sad to say this will probably be the last pair of these we will purchaide feet then these would be great. They also seem to come up big. I am a size 6 / 39 but I easily fitted into a children's 4! I would just think twice about these ones BUT definitely go and get the laces version - because like I started this review, I really do love Superga shoes.Could not fault Amazon's service though... just brilliant as usual.
Unfortunately this shoe was not wide enough, my child is a size 'F' and these were too narrow, otherwise fine

5/5 because this is a really, really good looking, well edited and well written book, it even feels good in your hands.The level of info is, for me, spot on. The pictures blend arty and informative in a really good balance - so you get the detail but don't ever feel like you're just looking at an endless stream of similar shots.Brilliant stuff.'U Dox' is a company though, it would be interesting to know who the actual brain(s) behind this book is/are.
A great publication, with superb images and well written. An interesting collection of trainers from all the best brands. Highly recommended, especially if you are fortunate enough to own some of the sneaks featured.
Excellent follow up to the first edition. i bought this as a gift for someone who is a sneake Cheap Louis Vuitton Handbags e I will be sourcing them from other suppliers. If you do order them check what price you are being charged for delivery !
My puppy really liked these so much that now I need to order more, think I'll get two pkts next order.So to anyone thinking of getting them I'd say go for it they keep their teeth & gums healthy while keeping your puppy quiet for awhile as well.
These would have been five stars but the dye which came off around my dogs mouth was not what I wanted ! I would have preferred it to have been without this dye!

mall ey fitted perfectly at this setting but after a few days, the leather had stretched and I had to adjust both buckles to the remaining tightest hole at the back and front which does take away from the look of the sandal. Now, after only two weeks, the leather has stretched again and I can't keep them on my feet. There is no further adjustment to the straps so that's it.....useless! Waste of money!!
Very lovely shoe concept, I like the simplicity, and being a fan of the 'buckle' I ignored a previous review, but then found same problem - the buckle over the toes is so large that it rubs your toes when you walk :( Had to return, sadly. Will try thve been buying these shoes for a few years now, as they are so comfortable and they fit my feet well. I have very wide feet, but have a narrow heel, and quite often shoes that are wide enough at the front tend to slip up and down at the heel. This doesn't happen at all with these shoes - the heel isn't especially narrow, but the shoe is designed so that it fits well at the front and the back. The leather on these shoes is lovely and soft so they never rub my wide feet, even when new.It was great to see a pair of these shoes at half the normal price.

My nearly 8 year old is very pleased with these. The heel is the thing for her! However, the leather is a bit heavy duty and she has a tendency for all shoes to rub her. The problem with these (they fit perfectly by the way) is where the strap joins the shoe on either side. A fantastic, very well written and very refreshing book. Ideal for summer holiday, or winter evenings - certainly worth your while! Would recommend to all women in the world!
I absoloutely loved this book. It had the perfect mixture of love, hate and lust. Martha was a wonderful character who you couldn't help but like, even at the beginning through her 'doormat' phase I warmed to her.Unlike some of Adele Parks other books, this one kept you wondering right until the very last page what was going to happen and who the two sisters would actually end up with.I would totally recommend this book to anybody, it was a great read..
