Great pair of casual shoes. This is my daughter's 2nd pair of vans. Can't go wrong with them. They're strong & have a little weight to them. A lot of people do deem them to be just expensive plimsolls & a waste of extra money. I actually used to believe the same thing until my kids didn't give in & insisted on a pair!...proved me wrong! They're much stronger than plimsolls & they've accomodated my daughter's feet very well, especially being that she c Peru they do not let in any wet or dirt..I work as a gardener and wear them most days through the Winter and on wet days.They are very hard wearing and the last pair I had lasted me about 18 months. They are quite liberally fitting. I normally take a size 11 in some shoes but found a size 10 (44) was a comfortable fit.
I really do like these for the convenience, they are well turned out.I found they are generously sized, using my normal shoes size thick socks were already catered for, and maybe a little more besides. Wellies are normally a slightly sloppier fit though, so it's fine.If I was buying again AND they did half sizes I would quite possibly elect to try a half size smaller.It is possible I may get an additional pair one size smaller for Summer, when thick socks are rather less likely.

These were recommended by my local running shop and initially I found them fine. But after 10 months of very light wear (less really as I've only worn them intermittently) I've noticed several holes appearing in the mesh material of the uppers of both feet (one where my toe wore through the material, but others for no apparent reason) and the uppers have started to look a bit fragile generally. Soles are hardly worn so it seems odd that the uppers are disintegrating. I would expect a Brooks shoe to be a lot more robust. I've never had a shoe wear like this.
Great trainers. I run loads - on roads but mainly on wood dirt tracks and heathland.Only 4 stars for the simple reason that I need a new pair every 6 months as the inner soles go flat and the base grip wears down. Having said that, I have not compared against other trainers as im on my 5th pair of these - never had a blister and all previous back twinges and leg muscle strains vanished the minute I got in them.
I haven't started running yet. Review is based on walking. I got fitted i supras shoes cheap ny aches and pains in her joints since she's started wearing them. Think I'll treat myself to a pair too! x
I wore these for 2 weeks solid & loved them, noticed the left one was abit tight width wise, but thought they would stretch being fabric, but alas I had to stop wearing all together because I'd damage my foot. I could not wear them for 2 months. I put a bag in my left shoe filled with water & stuck in the freezer over 2 nights, once the shoe dryed out they are perfect.
Both shoes had a giant hole in them, almost splitting them in half, after only a week. Not well made at all.

Strap came off one ballet shoe within minutes of my daughter putting them on. Not properly stitched on. Will sew it back on myself as quicker and easier than returning them and waiting for replacement!

I did not like this story. The shoes say they are expensive so that not everyone can experience the happiness they bring - how horrible. Happiness cannot be bought. The shoes are painful to wear to remind the lady of their presence. I prefer comfort. To me comfortable things are beautiful because they make me feel good, and uncomfortable things are evil and make me feel rubbish. I think the lady was shallow and materialistic and she deserves all the sore feet she gets!

price comparison d nice, but couldn't get my foot in them. Had to return (which cost me). These were from the warehouse and I get the impression I'm not the first person to have this problem. It may be just this one pair that is smaller than its listed size but I would use caution when ordering.
Can I say that the size of shoe that I ordered would usually fit well but I haven't even worn these shoes yet as they are just too big by about two sizes. I wouldn't be able to walk in them comfortably.... I would like to send them back....Now I wouldn't know what size to order especially since I'm in the USA.....

These sandals are very well made and quite pretty but very small. My normal shoe size is 6 or 6.5 or sometimes 7 depending on the make. Because I read previous reviews I ordered size 7. If I had drawn round my feet and produced a template it would have been exactly the same as the sandals. I should have ordered an 8.

My eight year old has been wearing these shoes in ever increasing sizes since the age of 4. They are extremely well made, fit her very well (she has particularly narrow feet which can get swamped in some other styles) and look smart. I would recommend them highly.

Having taken the plunge and started Adult Ballet classes, I was very excited about owning my first pair of ballet shoes. These are functional but pretty and really help to grip the floor when going through the moti supra high tops bought. Others in the past rip when putting them on but these fit my shoe great and I will buy them again when I run out. I use mine for the garden when it's muddy and I'm out picking up the things my dog takes in the garden!
