The glasses are quite a snug fit, but that could just be the size of my head! Though that means that they stay in place when cycling etc. and the rubber on the arms also give a bit of extra grip. They look pretty good too, and feel reasonably sturdy enough. So far these glasses have been great, my previous running glasses seemed to get covered in sweat dripping from my forehead when out running. I've used them a few times now and dont seem to have this issue. Bought for friend who does a lot of bike riding. He has worn them out and about and says they are very comfortable, not had chance to use on bike yet but seem good. Really liked the fit of these unfortunately leg broke off after wearing for 1 week on holiday, will probably order another pair at price paid and hope the failure was a one off! The overall boot fitted reasonably well, to the point I was sure it wasn't that I had just ordered the wrong size. The problem was that when walking around, the back portion of the boot grated against my heel as I walked. Within 20 minutes of walking my heel was blistered and I was in agony. I bought these to keep in the car to use when I visit my father resting place at the cemetery. As it's often muddy, they were useful so that I didn't need to keep changing into wellington boots and having to put muddy shoes into the car if I ever forgot to take with me a change of shoes. They are....OK, but not fantastic. They are a bit thinner than ones that I have used at swimming pools and they are not as big as some others I have used. You have to be a little careful with them as they that are quite thin and ladies, if you were heals with them, you have to tread lightly if on soft surfaces like soil as you could pierce them. Having said that, they are good over trainers and flat shoes. You can actually use them more than once if it is not too muddy and they can be washed (although I wouldn't bother as they are fairly cheap so it's easier to just bin them).I have rated as just ‘OK’ because at the end of the day, they are just that....OK. Like most Reef products they look great adn the actual sizing is very comfortable and accurate, especially plenty of toe room on the foot bed, which is good if your feet are a little wide like mine. I find I like to wear them for just kicking around the house or yard, but for any longer outings I tend to wear something else. Quite comfortable - toe post chafing a little but hopefully this will improve.Do NOT thinkus styles and shapes of clothes. These pictures are of idealized women with no lines or wrinkles, abundant hair, and slim, straight figures. And this undercuts the whole premise of the book, which is that you don't need to look like a young, slim supermodel in order to be gorgeous. The drawings say otherwise.Whyever didn't the author include some photos, say, of the fabulous 95-year-old Iris Apfel, or Helena Bonham-Carter, or Vivienne Westwood? Here truly is a case of where one picture would be worth 1,000 words - at least.I've solved this problem for myself, though. In the last few years I've collected a number of photographs of beautiful older women, looking like individuals and ageing naturally. Among them are actresses Liv Ullman, Marina Vlady and Anna Orso; Abba singer Agnetha; and 60-plus supermodels Daphne Selfe and Ing-Marie Lamy. Google them yourself, and you'll see why they are such great role-models for us older women. And if I can do it, why couldn't the author?Could she not be bothered? Or was there a problem with copyright? Either way, I felt cheated, and that's why I've given this book only three stars."}'>Read more ? The author describes the various 'style tribes' that women our age can belong to, from bohemian (mine) to 'gentlewoman', and interviews several women on their signature style, and how they arrived at it. This part is good. In fact, the text is well written and interesting, and I really wanted to give this book five stars. But what spoils it for me is the lack of photographs. Not one photo in the whole book, except for the 'author snapshot' at the back! In a book on style, this lack is appalling.Instead of photos, we get childish line drawings which show cartoonish versions of women wearing various st.
best small cars I sometimes find shoes or trainers squash my little toe, but these are very kind to my feet. They don't rub or slip and they have arch support. They feel secure on and they don't 'rock' too much that you feel you're about to fall over. I gave them a good try out with a 4 mile walk, and I'm so pleased with them. They grip well (There are a lot of wet leaves and mud around on my walk) and don't jar my feet or knees. It annoys me that womens shoes have such a rubbish tread, like we're too dainty to walk outside, and don't get me started on why they have to go to a point, whose feet are that shape?? Really pleased with this product, my daughter is size 3-4 so I ordered a 4 expecting them to be quite roomy, they fit lovely but not a lot of growing room! A very comfortable and perfect fitting tennis shoe, especially for someone with a slightly wider foot and high instep. The sole is nice and wide minimising the possibility twisting of foot/ankle. This shoe I have been buying for many years but have noticed the quality has decreased a little. The sole tends to come unstuck on the edge near the ball of the foot after a short while, which means a visit to the local cobbler is unavoidable. Something I would not really expect for this price bracket. For this reason I have given this shoe only 4 stars This is a hard wearing, comfortable, effective tennis trainer.
